NHI of Fangda Group: New Product Research and Development are Accelerating

A few days ago, 18 newly developed products and optimized products, including 40MN carbon moulding machine, medium rolling mill for steel bar and sintering annular cooling machine developed by the team all passed the technical review and acceptance of the company's Technical Committee.

For NHI’s employees who are eager to reform, April 30th, 2019 is the most memorable day. On that day, NHI successfully completed judicial reorganization and mixed ownership reform, Liaoning Fangda Group, as a strategic investor, has become the first shareholder of NHI lawfully. NHI has become a mixed ownership company jointly held by Fangda Group and ordinary financial creditors.

It is from this day on that NHI shake off the historical burdens and huge debts to begin a completely new reform. With the introduction of the enterprise culture of "Party building as the soul" of Fangda Group, the input of the new system and mechanism and capital injection, the survival and development ability of enterprise marketization has been greatly stimulated.

Mixed ownership reform has made NHI, an enterprise with profound history and technology accumulation, revived the hope and strengthened its confidence in developing the enterprise through science and technology.

New Systems and Mechanisms will Stimulate Innovation and Efficiency

Giving full play to the advantages of technology and R & D is an important support for enterprises to maintain lasting competitiveness in the market. Since the mixed ownership reform, NHI has continued to increase the investments in technology research and development, and invested heavily in the purchase of graphic workstations and servers. Purchased and upgraded a number of design software, effectively improved the design quality and design, process efficiency. China's first intelligent cloud service expert management system for heavy equipment, jointly built with the Shenyang Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences, has been officially launched, marking an important step in the transformation of products into intelligent ones.

On march 1st this year, the first domestic T12 active multi-functional crawler scraper independently designed and developed by Chen Qinliang's R & D team, was successfully applied in the construction of national key projects. This achievement has greatly broken the monopoly European and American countries on this product and encouraged the morale of R & D personnel. The upgrading and transformation of traditional products and the R & D of new products are speeding up.

Recently, there is another good piece of news from the Transportation equipment design and Research Institute of NHI design and Research Institute. As one of NHI’s major projects in science and technology development, the standardization, modularization parametric design and R & D of common components for belt conveyers has achieved phased results, which will improve the design efficiency by more than 30%

The overall data volume of the projects concerning the "standardization, modularization and parameterization" in design and development of common parts for belt conveyor was about 400,000 pieces, and the logic code was about 100,000 pieces, with more than 3000 kinds of parametric models. Through the joint efforts of the research team, the parametric research and development of three-dimensional model and typical structure of common parts for belt conveyor, such as pulley group, idler group, idler, head frame, tail frame, take-up device, etc., had been completed. Among them, the roller group had successfully passed the whole process trial of design, standardization, process and PLM.

NHI’s realization of first application in standardization, modularization and parameterization of common parts for belt conveyor in China could greatly reduce the repeated work by engineers, improve the design quality and shorten the time of technical preparation. Meanwhile, prompt response to customer’s personalized requirements could be achieved. In phase of design proposal, multiple design schemes could be finished promptly for the purpose of seeking for the best solution by comparison.

Enterprise’s Fundamental is the Research and Development of the New Products

Since the mixed ownership reform, NHI has firmly followed the market, spared no efforts to speed up the updating of products, technology and new products R&D, which had scored great achievements. The technical transformation and upgrading of two earth pressure balance shield machines with a diameter of 6.48m in the South extension line project of Shenyang Metro Line 2 further established the leading position of NHI in the field of TBM market. A batch of newly developed products, such as 100T converter, HLS-415 new sintering annular cooler, new hammer-type crusher, impact crusher, and 1000T /h sand and gravel aggregate production line, have become the important backbone for the company to create new economic growth point, which has great social and economic benefits. Among them, the tunnel boring machine of EQC6330 which has been applied in the Shandong Xinwen mining group 10 km of coal roadway engineering solves the complex geological conditions such as problems of complicated geological conditions and high strength of installed working face, marking NHI’s another breakthrough in the field of TBM. The brand influence increases greatly, and it also strengthens the user's confidence in win-win cooperation with NHI.  

Compared with the ball mill with the same output, the newly developed MPD single roller straining intermediate speed coal mill, which can replace the high energy consumption ball mill or the double inlet and double outlet mill, can reduce the energy consumption by about 50%, featuring less land occupation, low noise, low cost and obvious competitive advantages.

New product research and development is the foundation for an enterprise to become strong as well as the source of development.
