It is imperative to improve product performance and develop new energy-saving, environmental protection and efficient products. Ball mill is generally the equipment with the largest motor capacity of concentrator, and the transmission part is the key link of power loss.
The transmission system is a typical low-speed and high-torque transmission system, with low transmission efficiency and high energy consumption. The traditional driving mode has been unable to meet the needs of users. Taking the ball mill as the breakthrough of energy saving and consumption reduction to carry out product innovation has become the first step for NHI to actively respond to the national call for energy saving and emission reduction and green development. In December 2019, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology released the National Recommended Catalogue of Industrial Energy-saving Technology and Equipment (2019). The new permanent magnet direct drive synchronous motor system of ball mill has become a representative of the promotion and application of high efficiency and energy saving technology and equipment products.
It is reported that the efficiency and power factor of the permanent magnet direct drive ball mill is much higher than that of the ball mill of the same specification. At the same time, it can realize low speed and high torque direct drive operation, which can greatly reduce the cost. Moreover, the imported reducer is the longest part of the whole product production cycle. By removing the reducer link by direct drive, the manufacturing period can be greatly shortened, and it is also conducive to the installation of the construction site. The simplified transmission system structure is more convenient for daily maintenance and can effectively reduce operating costs.
It is understood that according to the ball mill 330 days/year working system calculation, the permanent magnet direct drive technology can save 1 million degrees of electricity a year and annual cost savings of about 500,000 yuan. Therefore, the development and application of new energy-saving permanent magnet direct drive ball mill is in line with the national policy guidance for meeting the market demand. While improving the innovation of mill technology and enterprise competitiveness, leading the industry to the direction of green energy saving with high-end technology, further improving the economic benefits of China's mineral processing industry.

And in this process, NHI and other brother heavy industry enterprises in China, experiencing innovation, exploration, failure, China's grinding equipment has gradually been pushed to the international market through joint efforts. It has contributed to China's implementation of the Belt and Road strategy overseas, and helped many countries complete infrastructure construction.
On April 30, 2019, under the correct leadership and strong promotion of the CPC Liaoning Provincial Committee, the Provincial Government and the CPC Shenyang Municipal Committee and the Municipal Government, with return home feelings, Liaoning Fangda Group actively participate in the judicial restructuring and mixed-ownership reform of NHI, and has become the largest shareholder of the enterprise in accordance with the laws.
